There is relief news for the people of Sambhal district. Soon the 100-bed district hospital in Bahjoi will get a four-storey building. This will provide a lot of relief to the officers and employees of the health department as well as the patients. DPR has been prepared by the executing agency and sent to the government.
The tender process will start as soon as approval is received. It has been more than 12 years since Sambhal became a district, but till now a building has not been found for the district hospital. Till now the district hospital is being operated in the joint hospital of Sambhal.
Due to the efforts of DM Manish Bansal, the process of building a district hospital in Bahjoi has accelerated. A district hospital is to be built on five acres at the Bada Maidan located at the Collectorate in Bahjoi. After getting approval from the government, the team that came from Lucknow recently had prepared the major drawing of the land.
Soil sample was taken. Now the executive body has prepared a DPR worth Rs 124 crore and sent it to the government.
Distance will be less for all three tehsils
With the construction of District Hospital in Bahjoi, the distance from Chandausi to Bahjoi will be about 18 kilometers. Whereas this distance will be about 30 kilometers from Gunnaur and 27 kilometers from Sambhal. CMO office is also operating temporarily in Bahjoi itself. This also operates in the building of Bahjoi CHC.
Housing will also be built for the employees
Houses will also be built for health department officials and employees in the district hospital to be built on five acres of land in Bahjoi. This will be a relief for all employees and officers. Along with having all the facilities in one building, all the officials of the health department will also be available.
